Gospels are a genre of ancient literature concerning the life of Jesus.
The word derives from the Old English word for "Good News", a translation of the Greek
word euangelion.This refers to the 'good news' being told— that Jesus has redeemed a fallen world.
Blues is a vocal and instrumental musical form originally derived from African American
work songs. A form of American roots music, blues has been a major influence on later
American popular music, finding expression in jazz, big bands, rhythm and blues, rock
and roll and country music as well as conventional pop songs and even modern classical music.
